About me

I'm a licensed clinical psychologist (CA PSY29833) providing telehealth therapy to adults and older teens in California, and to Florida residents under an out-of-state telehealth registration.

I earned my PhD in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University and completed my pre-doctoral internship at Community Health Awareness Council (CHAC) in Mountain View, CA, working with clients across the lifespan.

My primary approach is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in which I'm intensively trained. DBT pairs practical, skills-based work with mindfulness, centered on the balance of acceptance and change — accepting where you are while building the skills to move toward a life that feels meaningful to you. Depending on what you bring into the work, I also draw from cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and acceptance-and-commitment approaches.

I work with a range of concerns where emotion regulation is often at the center — depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, anger, and the strain of major life transitions — as well as the particular pressures facing executives and people in leadership roles, and the emotional weight of coping with cancer.

A typical session balances structure and exploration: we'll identify what's most pressing, build skills you can use between sessions, and stay curious about the longer-term patterns shaping what's coming up now. My goal is for you to leave with both new perspective and tools you can carry forward.

My clinical thinking is also informed by an ongoing interest in compassion, empathy, emotional competence, attachment, and parenting — themes that often surface in the work even when they aren't the presenting concern.
